Voy-Mug Listserv: Voyager Music Users Group (VMUG)
Users can subscribe to the list by sending a mail message to:
They can leave the "Subject:" blank and then in the first line of
the body
of the message, type in:
subscribe voy-mug
Then, send the message normally. In a few minutes, the person will get an
automated reply back from majordomo with a code to authenticate their
subscription request. If they follow the directions in the message
properly and send back the authorization command in a second e-mail to
majordomo@ats.rochester.edu, they will then be subscribed to your list
successfully. This is done so that people do not try to subscribe
bogus e-mail addresses to the mailing list.
At this point they can start sending mail to list members using the
voy-mug@ats.rochester.edu address
and their messages will get sent to
everyone subscribed to the list.
To unsubscribe from the list, use the same procedure as above, but just type in:
unsubscribe voy-mug
in the body of the message and send the message normally. The user will then
get an automated message returned to them saying they have been
unsubscribed.
If you wish to know who is subscribed to the mailing list, you can send a message to majordomo@ats.rochester.edu and put the following command in the body of your message:
who voy-mug
Majordomo will then send you a mail message back with a list of everyone who is subscribed to your group.
