System Requirements and Off-Campus Access

Use of these resources is limited to the UConn community. Off-campus users will be prompted for their UConn NetIDs and passwords.

Naxos Music Library requires Windows Media Player (PCs or Macs) or Flip4Mac (Macintosh). Here are more technical details about Naxos.

All the others (American Song, African American Music, Classical Music Library, Contemporary World Music, and Smithsonian Global Sound, and the shared search, Music Online) work on Macs and PCs with a browser and require no special software, though you may be prompted to download the Windows Media Player Extension or run an Active X control.
